My book, Robot Futures, was released in March 2013, and beginning last year, as the book went into press, I have endeavoured to identify and blog about stories in popular media that relate directly to the issues presented in the book, from the robotic hyper-analysis of human shopping behavior to new robot-human relationships, telepresence advancements and the like. Since I attempt near-future predictions in the book, it is only fair that I point at recent advancements that support or contradict how these predictions might play out over the next few decades.

Thanks Chris. Amazon is selling a Kindle version; a friend of mine only kindle-published, and I was able to view it on a regular computer using their free application- so their kindle version is essentially a read-anywhere e-book (I think).
I saw a link to the Pittsburgh CBS Local story about you on Twitter today. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2014/02/23/cmu-robotics-professor-warns-of-growing-technology Wanted to do my free digital labor to tweet your book with a link to you but couldn’t find you on Twitter. Makes sense given your point of view. I did find @robotPositronic but they haven’t tweeted since 2012. Caution about robots is an important topic. Ironically, the best way to get the word out to people about your book is through that dastardly social media stuff. I’m putting it on GooglePlus instead though I see you don’t have an account there either. There was a video of you speaking posted twice in April 2012.
